It’s CAKEMASSSSSSSS!!
Now the nights are drawing in, its cold and dark, it means only one thing is round the corner, CHRISTMAS!! As a family we get excited about this time of year anyway, we really are those people. The ones that plan everything festive and shower the kids with every possible bit of Christmas magic! (They still believe, and I’m definitely not risking leaving Santa without a cookie on his busiest day of the year!!)
This year though we can get super excited earlier than normal as we start planning our Christmas treats! Sitting in the kitchen, armed with a wooden spoon, reminding the kids that Santa is watching, as their inside voices become outside ones, I imagine what dessert I want to devour on Christmas day. What is that one pudding I really don’t have room for, but I’m going to eat it anyway because guess what? ITS CHRSITMASSSSSS!
A bowl full of washing up, 45 Santa threats later and 3 more pounds added the scale and us Fat Birds have the perfect Christmas menu lined up! If you want to order a mouth-watering dessert, a box of treats for the office festive fuddle or want to rock up armed with an awesome savoury platter from heaven, that the mother-in-law will drool over, then get your name on our order forms!!! Buttery biscuit-based cheesecakes, the daddy of all chocolate fudge cakes, gooey brownies and traditional sticky toffee pudding are just to name a few! (Now you can see where we get our name from!)

Christmas eve boxes-check and we have the perfect selection of handmade festive treats which make the perfect addition to a Christmas eve box! Hot chocolate cones, reindeer food, hot chocolate stirrers and lollies and our favourite bake your own cookies for Santa!!
Just to add to the never-ending list of things to do for any parent at Christmas, we introduced the elf! Gosh I wish someone had pre warmed me about elf on the shelf and all the stress that small, plastic, smiley face would cause! If you have no idea what I’m talking about, you’re the lucky one! Thinking of 24 different acts of mischief the elf can get up too, is more stressful than shopping in the black Friday sales! But to help, we have the ‘GUESS WHO’S BACK BOX’ at least if you must get the elf out you can enjoy a home baked treat at the same time!
